Easter Sunday, 9th Avenue & 46th Street, NYC

April 12, 2020

What made this day different than any other? Perhaps a burst of energy, pent up since the beginning of what we could never have imagined merely a month earlier. To many a viewer, it might look as if there is nothing about abnormal for a Sunday in New York, but I assure you, although there are people in most photos, it is an infinitesimal amount compared to normal times.

The food delivery guys, the Fed Ex delivery guy, the masked, the unmasked, the bent over, the dog, the woman with bunny ears, the couples, the solos, the workers, the shoppers, the cyclists, the runner, the neighbors. Here before my eyes and now yours, were some of the scenes from my window.
