PRESS & REVIEWS ON EXHIBITIONS

FROM HER TO ETERNITY, TRAVELING EXHIBITION, CHICAGO,

JULY-SEPTEMBER 2023

From Her to Eternity is the first comprehensive overview of all the pioneering women photographers who offer glimpses into the life – on and off stage – of suspicious characters, idols, movers, shakers, and mere geniuses.  It’s also ARC’s first traveling exhibition. It’s a thousand running feet of amazing photographs.  It’s free. The project is inspired by Anita Lane, curated by ARC Board Member Courtney Love  and ARC Creative Director Julie Panebianco.

The ARChive of Contemporary Music is very proud to present our exhibition—From Her To Eternity: The Women Who Photograph Music. Comprised of iconic, influential photos shot entirely by women, the outdoor installation is displayed prominently at the corner of S. Wabash Avenue and E. Eighth Street in in Chicago’s vibrant South Loop neighborhood from now until September 18th .The project, created by ARC Board of Advisor member Courtney Love and ARC creative director Julie Panebianco, along with Joe Shanahan of the Metro/Smartbar, @shaynirae & @justinechiara , is being presented in conjunction with Columbia College Chicago & the Museum of Contemporary Photography & the Wabash Arts Corridor.
